Amazing bedframe! My old bedframe was looking very distressed and the wood was starting to split on my headboard so I knew I had to bite the bullet and make the investment. My boyfriend and I recently split so I no longer have the benefits of a 2 income household. I took a leap of faith when I bought this bedframe because it was so cheap and a headboard (without the frame) that was very similar to this one costed $200 on it's own. Arrived super quick. Box was super heavy, had it sitting in my living room for a week because I got a little intimidated, but it honestly came together so quick and easy! Im not handy at all, but the directions were really easy to follow and i had the frame completed in about 45 minutes. The bedframe itself looks super nice. Definately looks more expensive than it costs, my ex came into my room to pick up some of his stuff and he said "wow, living good I see"..gave myself a mental pat on the back.
I have an 8 inch mattress which comes maybe an inch or two below where the headboard starts. My pillows cover up the gap, but I think the perfect mattress for this frame would be 10 inches. So glad I made the purchase!

This is so infuriating! The instruction state in the first step to install the headboards legs on backwards ! The holes/screws facing the back went to finish and slats don't fit because the legs are backwards and now screws are stripped!!!!! Can't take the headboard legs off now and flip them around because the screws are stripped... WTH do I do now.. My 6 year old son has no bed...

It was fairly easy to assemble, and it looks very nice. However, the middle support broke out from under it after like 2 nights. Then another piece broke out at the end of the first week. Without the middle support, the bed just sagged in the middle and I felt like I was laying in a bowl. I made sure to read the specs before buying and it says it holds up to 800 pounds. Thats a LIE. I weigh less that half of that and yet that flimsy wood did not hold up. I ended up having to search for a metal foundation that would fit inside of this foundation and then take out all the wood for it to fit. I'm sure I would've spent less money and would've done less work if I hadnt believed the specs that the manufacturer put out about this bed.

This is a TERRIBLE product. All of the people saying this is “easy” to assemble must have been paid to write a good review. I have a Zinus bed frame that is actually truly easy to assemble, well built, and well designed. The pieces of this bed frame are not labeled and you have to refer to The instructions to know which piece you’re holding. The quality of the wood pieces is trash. You can’t fit all pieces in the back of the frame like one reviewer mentioned - pieces we’re awkwardly left out in the package. Worst of all, you cannot disassemble the bed frame once built because the slats need to be drilled in instead of using a Velcro mechanism like the Zinus. I am willing to go through the pain and hassle of returning to get rid of this garbage and get my money back.

Well, what everyone else said about this frame (in a queen or bigger anyway) was absolutely true. It’s very flimsy. A part made to hold the side rails together is plastic, the slats are pine plywood and flake (pull apart, see pictures) and there is no way the rails will hold for very long without additional support. I actually cut 2x4’s and wedged them under the center of each main slat.
This would probably be great as a twin, but it just doesn’t have good enough handywork and support for anything bigger as it’s designed.

I was only able to secure 5/6 screws in the headboard, as the holes did not all line up. See picture. I had already unboxed everything, and wasn't going to send it back just for that as it is a spare bed that will be used infrequently. Other than that, the directions left a lot to be desired as they didn't specify which way was front/back for the headboard legs (no words, just pictures). Wasn't hard to put together and it looks nice, but I don't know if I'd want to use the bed every day as it seems kind of flimsy.

This is a beautiful frame. Easy to put together with what's provided and a small drill or screwdriver. It comes in a small package that isn't too heavy. The fabric is high quality, we trusted it to our 3 year olds room.

This bed frame is amazing! Easy to assemble, sturdy, and looks exactly like it does in the photos. Such a great bed frame for a reasonable price. I would give it 5 stars but I don’t feel I’ve had it long enough to give it a genuine 5 star review.

The left front leg and the right front leg uses different fabric. The fabric to cover the left one is very very thin but the right one has a better fabric and thicker. I wish the back legs are the wood instead of plastic. Other things are fine. The bed looks good.

The wooden boxboard replacement under the bed broke from the first night of sleeping .. I am only 110 pounds. Woke up in the middle of the night the first night sleeping in it and had to take the wooden part out and just sleep with the mattress on the floor for the rest of the night so I didn’t have to keep waking up to fix the boards. The bed itself is pretty but I ordered the colour pearl and it’s more of a beige colour. Would be a great bed if you buy a separate boxspring replacement.

The assembling itself was pretty hard, took me about 3 hours with confusing instructions. Having ordered a full bedframe, it came in way too big, we can see the wood slats on both sides of the mattress.

The worst part is the mattress base support, both my girlfriend and I being very light weight after one month of sleeping on it, we have managed to somehow break the support. The screw inserts came out of both stands, leaving us with no solution but to make a custom made base to hold up the bed.
I would not recommend this bed frame, and I will never buy a LUCID product again.
